Before your first sexual wellness purchase
A useful first purchase starts with a clear question: what do you want this product to add to your life?
Write your own brief
Describe the experience you are curious about in plain language. You might value simple controls, easy storage, or a product you can discuss with a partner. Choose two priorities. A longer feature list is only useful if those features address something you actually want.
Read beyond the photograph
Look for a named material, complete dimensions, care instructions, and a reachable seller. Read the return policy before opening any packaging, including exclusions for intimate products. If a listing leaves an important question unanswered, contact the retailer or leave it off your shortlist.
Make room for a different answer
You can decide to wait, buy something simpler, or skip the purchase entirely. If a partner will be involved, discuss the idea before ordering. A guide can help you ask better questions, but it cannot predict your preferences. Keep your own comfort at the center of the decision.
